These are open to PNZ funder members and is an opportunity to connect and stay updated on developments affecting giving in the region.

The Philanthropy Conference 2023 Uniquely Aotearoa New Zealand
The 2023 conference brought together funders and grantmakers from across Aotearoa New Zealand and overseas who reconnected, shared knowledge, celebrated achievements and collaborated. Our Uniquely Aotearoa New Zealand theme acknowledged the role that our bicultural foundation, and multicultural society play in our giving. It had a strong focus on climate action and preparing for and helping communities to recover from disasters.

Special funder session with Vu Le
The amazing Vu Le, writer of the NonprofitAF.com blog and former executive director of Rainier Valley Corps (RVC), returns to Aotearoa New Zealand and PNZ will be hosting a funder session with him in Auckland.
This session is targeted at funder conversations and is a more intimate opportunity to hear from Vu Le and share reflections. Vu will inspire and challenge funders with what they can do less and more of to support community impact.

Discussion session for PNZ funders on Trusts Act and restriction on trustee delegation
Legal specialists are available to speak with PNZ funder members about how a restriction in the Trusts Act 2019 may impact grantmaking and funding approaches, hear views on potential fixes that could work for the sector, and discuss next steps.
Decarbonising transport and philanthropy event
